Idea!

We shall have an open (non-sense) debate using only quotes with the word, "fire," and "ice." All posts in the debate are to be given the header, "! !"

"Some say the world will end in fire;
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice." ~Robert Frost
(Hopefully poems work!)

"Those who cannot understand how to put their thoughts on ice should not enter into the heat of debate."
--Friedrich Nietzsche

[I did say quotes, so that should work.]

Greetings to all, I have been trying to work on my blog as of late though, it's nothing fancy atleast, I've managed to post some relevant news articles relating to the autistic community along with my own commentary.
Well, I hope everyone is doing well and all? I'm okay just hoping to be able to carry out a project or two this year.
Not sure what else to add except, I expect Kyle & Identity sometime soon if not I shall present a nice gesture if I'm offline by the time they show up along with everyone else that populates this thread...

Dear Professor, Are you kidding? I think that you, of all people, know very well the power that believers ascribe to the images of Voudon. Dean Koontz wrote a novel wherein those beliefs were at the heart of the plot....scared the living daylights out of me!
But then, admittedly, Dean Koontz scared the living daylights out of me with his book about a giant mushroom.
If I am a jewel,( what a wonderful thing to say!), then you are an entire tiara!

Dear ProfessorX, Didn't the believers leave drawn patterns called Ve-Ve on someone's house to notify that a curse had been placed upon all who dwelled there, or something like that? They also sold things called Gris-Gris to protect FROM curses. I have read about them(ever hear of Marie Laveau?) for years...they were one scary group in the 1800's.
Now, Voudon and Santeria and Palo Mayombe are perfectly legal in Florida, chicken sacrifices and all!
