Inspector Morse in French would be Inspector Walrus in English. It's useful to know such things. Peut-être.

when i was little all i noticed was how much i got bullied by bullies;
but now sometimes i realize when i got in the position, i wouldn't hesitate to bully my bullies

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

Hmmm...

Would it mattered if I failed several strangers I've never met from different places altogether?
Should I worry being discredited? Amongst thousands of others?
Some are just being nice, some don't. It's not like a pissed off guy waves my name around and tell I failed -- for many others would suggest my lack of expertise or experience at the subject.
In the end, it is still my responsibility to gauge my own skill level and abilities from the job descriptions, whether or not I passed some sort of test or qualified from the interview.

... Hmm.

I can almost feel it. That switch it's almost on my reach, if only I could just fumble it...

The brightest things in the universe are quasars, which can be 429 trillion times brighter than our sun.

In the context of work, I wouldn't worry. When the decision to hire an employee is made, it's based on HR or whoever handles hiring co-signing that they believe the applicant is qualified and suitable. If it turns out not to be the case, the fault isn't only that of the applicant but also that of the person who's job was to select the best candidate. Further, as long as they give the person who didn't work out an idea why so they can improve, you actual come out with something you didn't have when you started - more insight and more experience. :nerdy:

Once you compile a list of "unwritten rules," you'll have to change the title.
