Having said that, I do like to mess about on games to pass the time in times like these when I'm worried and stressed about multiple things

Yeah, they can be quite helpful. I especially like ones with a story... kind of escaping from the world and loafing in a new one for a tad bit. You know?

I like to mess around on games too when I need to get things off of my mind sometimes. More often though, I write about those kind of things that worry or stress me out because I feel I get those thoughts stuck in my head completely out and on paper.

I don't write those kinds of things to be honest. Well, not often at least. But hey! It's good stress relief if you like to.

Writing mostly helps me because it gets me out of being hyper focused on what stresses me out when I write. I do know what you are saying Orcbane when you mentioned loafing around in a new world, a good story in a game does that for me too.

Yeah, I know how that is. Playing games and reading helps me stop that focus... as does going outside (provided it's very quiet and not so much in an urban area.) Do you like writing fiction at all?

I've been trying to write fiction recently, but I'm in the early stages of writing it still. I'm starting to gather focus on writing it, I just have to put all of the ideas together to make more progress which I want to do very soon.

I'm trying to write poetry. The problem is, we're learning about poetry in my AP English class, and the poems we're reading are so complex and subtle that I don't think I'll be any good at writing poetry.

I hate poetry, sorry!

They're not that bad, except if they need a lot of analysis. Then they're unbearable.

I know what you mean Albirea, analyzing over complex writing can be unbearable for me sometimes too. The problem is that when I'm assigned something for school, I don't know if it is something I will enjoy or not. I do enjoy reading poetry though, I have somebody I know at school who writes poetry as well.

I'm writing a poem about Nyan Cat. The first part will parody William Blake's "The Tyger".

I wonder how that'll turn out. XD

[It seems to be a very trochaic poem.]
