^ I do do a bit of pet perving. Some pets are just so adorable it's hard not to stare.

Eyes are used to express emotion, making them big makes a character's face more expressive. It's a trick cartoonists use to make it easier for a character to convey emotion.

I just don't like the anime eyes, you know those Japanese characters that seem to attract a lot of Aspie females. Not me though.

I was just explaining why they are how they are, not expecting understanding why to change your aesthetic preferences.

When you send someone a text message and it seems like it's sent as it shows the time it sent underneath the message, but like half an hour later you get a message saying "the recipient was offline so message unable to send, switch to SMS?" Why couldn't it just do that in the first place, it was in the text message app.

^ Yeah.

Another pet peeve, when people assume how intelligent you are by your posting style. When I say I have some learning difficulties on forums people are like "but you can't, your posts are always so well-written!" Ugh, okay, I'm good at spelling and I like writing, but that doesn't mean I don't struggle intellectually in other areas. Just because someone has learning difficulties doesn't mean they're automatically going to be "stupid" at everything and post garbled posts, in fact I find that an insulting generalisation to make against people with learning difficulties.

People who cough or whose cellphone rings during someone’s piano competition performance.

^ Gah, yes. :x

I was at an organ recital when someone's phone started ringing. It was left unanswered for so long that the organist stopped playing and with remarkable composure said to the audience "Would someone like to get that?".
After a couple more rings someone eventually did. They were actually in the audience and just let it ring.

When jobs advertisements say "must be able to work calmly under pressure, must have excellent attention to detail..." Reading that often deters me from applying, but it seems all jobs want those two skills.
