That goddamn pipeline protest..I agree with the protesters, and apparently a similar pipe just leaked in Georgia and Alabama...good luck convincing all those protesters that's not a risk with this new one.

I've just started to feel very angry and frustrated at how people ASSUME things based on ONE thing someone might post here.

I'm sick of people then extrapolating for themselves an entire life story for me or think they then know how I am 24/7.

Some of us may post about ONE aspect that we struggle with at times, or one trait that makes things difficult AT TIMES. And that thing may not come up but once in a while for the person who experiences it, it's just that when it does it's intense enough to comment on here.

But sanctimonious people who don't have that trait, don't tend to react that way or do that thing, and who evidently have their sh!t together OH so much more than us plebs who struggle with a couple of things, then go off believing that the one with the struggle is deliberately wallowing in that particular bad trait AROUND THE CLOCK.

Talk about black and white thinking!

Um, I have a question!

I was wanting a Gen 4 Pokemon game, since I haven't played Diamond, Pearl, or Platnium. Pearls are my birthstone, but Palkia looks creepy to me, I love Dialga, but the idea of having a Giritina sounds like the epitome of cool! What a dilemma!

Ehhh, I like the girl/Dawn's Platnium outfit better.

And I really want a Shaymin, but since my DS is screwed up, I missed the event, and I would have to use something in Gen 4 to get one. I really have a thing for green Mythical Pokemon. :mrgreen:

Now stop bugging me for your birthday gift by ranting about my cognition. I can't find a good and affordable gift. Last time was just pure luck of finding one! And you spoiled that last time's surprise by snooping with my stuff!

Yeah, the only way I'd believe that you'd be able to get it at this point is through Action Replay, (when I was still a Pokemon noob, I'd use all kinds of cheats in my game, like the Shaymin one, and the unofficial Arceus event), but I no longer do.

But I'm not really too sure if you'd be able to transfer a Shaymin via Action Replay all the way to Gen 6, though, (if anyone one here has actually had this work, though, feel free to reply to this).

But in my opinion, here are some of the positives regarding Pokemon Platinum:

1. Much more story is added to the plot, kind of similar to Pokemon Emerald, I guess.

2. Gen 4 introduced a lot of new evolutions to previous Gen Pokemon, and in Diamond and Pearl, you could only really access most of them in the post-game, but in Platinum, most, if not all of them are available to you during the main story. For example, you actually get a free Eevee right off the bat during the main story, so you could get either Leafeon or Glaceon on your team.

3. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl had a severe lack of fire types available to you right from the get go, but in Pokemon Platinum, this is no longer an issue.

4. You can actually get both Dialga and Palkia at some point as well, so essentially, you can get all three of the Sinnoh mascot legendaries. :wink:

5. Both the rival and champion are fairly likable characters in this Gen.

Those are just my thoughts.
