(funny enough, I was looking at supermarkets in Oz and USA and found Aldi to be a commonality)

I must be the only Celtic fan in England who keeps moving about the country never going north of Hadrian's wall and always getting at least one Rangers or Sevco fan for a neighbour... I had to move really far south before it didn't happen, then nobody would talk football with me.

My next door neighbours are actually pretty backward and stupid. They have Christmas lights everywhere like NT chavs and specialist license plates with ftp on.

They must know I'm aspie (or light sensitive at least nobody wears tinted glasses for fun) but they don't actually care or they do and they're that bad.

^It's most likely they are not aware of the connection between autism and sensitivity. They prob think your glasses

are a fashion statement. Most NT people don't give things much thought rather than they mean to be causing

problems.

I'm not sure but I thought of two examples then realised the first example was someone who was autistic making up an NT chav (I have an imaginary world and my characters are rich chavs) and the other example is just me being classist (my dad grew up very working class, like so working class they didn't call the police over anything and nobody actually worked. He's probably autistic. But he isn't a chav at all, except he picks fights in public...)

I like mince pies like your mum's. I like them slightly open as well. My late grandma made them like that. I try to get mum to as well but mum follows recipes. (I can't cook). Mum can't believe anything is sweet unless it's covered in sugar.

Sorry, this is more Scottish than English but still UK, I tried writing to Celtic about the famous disco lights. They said they'd look into it and if it affected autism then they'd stop using them. They haven't. To me that says they care more about the lights and the cash then they do about people having meltdowns and migraines. I think they think they can walk all over autistic people because not many autistic people like football and because we don't collectivise well. I can't go to football matches while they're there even though I live close enough to Glasgow for a day trip.

My neighbours might not know. But all my windows are blacked out and I wear dark glasses. It's amazing the details that NTs don't notice - makes me not respect them very much to be honest.
