I had a hot dog for my lunch.

Every morning I wake up with a sense of anxiety.

... Was that supposed to be painful? :| I thought it's just 'normal', no warrant for concern or worry.

Therefore whatever's painful means it's not valid, it's not real, and thus it shouldn't even felt let alone expressed.

I always wake up feeling like I need more sleep, thanks to chronic insomnia. I can't remember ever having awoken feeling well-rested in my life.

I wonder if Modafinil might be helpful.

I have an appointment with my psychiatrist on May 1, I'll ask her about it then. Not sure if there might be interactions with any of my other meds. Currently I'm on doxepin and melatonin for sleep, and it at least means I get several hours of sleep a night, instead of half an hour or none. I've tried several other sleep meds that didn't work at all, but Modafinil does not sound familiar to me, so I don't think I've already tried it.

Ugh, my mom has put on Judge Judy. I really don't like her (Judge Judy, not my mom). She's quite judgmental (pun not intended but acknowledged), set in her ways, and makes a good number of assumptions that may very well not be true and refuses to listen to people who are trying to explain that her assumptions aren't true.

It's not a sleep aid. It's a wake aid, I figure if the one side of the problem can't be resolved, something to offset the symptoms and approach it from the other side might be worth considering.

Ah, I didn't realize that. Yeah, since sleep meds alone don't help me enough, perhaps taking a different approach will work better.

My understanding is that it's more of a 'wakefulness promoter', compared to something like Ritalin or Adderall which are chemically related, but are typical stimulants.

I'm fortunate enough to never have had a cold sore in my life.

Why.

What is it really? 'I'm sorry-I'm sorry' or 'Go to @&#&ing hell!! !', and--or that, 'Whut?' or '(Insert excuses/unwarranted facts/whatever)', even 'Muahahahahahahaha' for no reason?? :|
