i won a race in a lobby contest using an old stock standard mercedes 300 sel (6.3l) against an anonymous field of contemporaries all fitted out with modern turbocharged small cars. my car was deemed to be not suitable for the race due to it's inferior handling characteristics, but i had the option to "race anyway" since my car was inferior to the rest of them (it would not have let me use a superior car like a mclaren etc because of the inequity of it). i know this is very basal and material, but at my age, i like to know that i can still compete with much younger gamers even using an unlikely and unwieldy car that they would never dream of choosing to compete with.

I won a bottle of Smirnoff Ice this morning because I was yesterdays best booker.

I graduated college today, which made me both happy and apprehensive.

I am about to hang out my 3rd load of laundry today - I have to take advantage of the dry sunny days.

I managed to blag a tin of Strongbow off my colleague who won it.

I told him I'd buy it off him for 5p and he tried to push me up to 6p but he gave it me in the end.

I wont drink it though, it was just for the sake of something to do really.

Apart from that my day was s**t. My ADHD was pretty bad today.
