I don’t have headphones right now and my dad and brother are working from home and I want to be sure I’m not bothering them, so I’ll watch it later. Just thought I should mention that I’m not ignoring you :)

I’ve completely gone down the rabbit hole with my new obsession

I stumbled upon it during one of my Internet-browsing sessions that consist of clicking on links to related things, then things related to that, etc. until the thing I end up on seems to have absolutely nothing to do with the thing I started on (I don’t even remember what I started with this time  ), and my mind instantly latched on to it (as is typical of how my obsessions begin, my mind just latches on to one particular thing, sometimes even something I don’t actually like).

The sequel to that game is available for download from Origin, so I got it. First one I had to order a physical copy of from Amazon, I went back to approximately one year ago in the reviews for the seller and only found one negative review (and two that were 4/5 stars, all the rest were 5), so I went ahead and ordered it, approximate arrival April 21-27. Now the question is, do I wait for the first one to get here and play that first, or do I start the second one now since I already know probably everything I’d need to from the first, thanks to my thorough investigation last night?

A Breath of the Wild NPC just told me "This rain is bogus, dude" and then went "Heeyah" in conversation. I'm unsure how to feel about this exchange.

How does one... Break an intangible webs and chains of sentiment, buried deep in the psyche of masses?

We have wild fires again. Not like Australia, but devastating enough for locals. The biggest grew from 300 acres to 8000 acres overnight. It is the end of our dry season and everything is snap crackle and pop dry. It is 10% contained. Yes, 10%.

I seem to have a knack for discovering and becoming obsessed with things well after they're popular and easy to find. And the computer games I discover could even be too old for my computer to even run, I need to remember that. Hope that isn't the case with the 20-year-old ( 8O ) game I ordered, it's a little late to do anything about it now. And I found another game I want to play that's 19 years old. I think I was born twenty years or so too late, at least as far as my interests go.

The first "true" alphabet appeared around the 8th century BCE, when the Ancient Greeks borrowed the Phoenician alphabet and adapted it to their own language, giving equal status to vowels and consonants.

Wow, the tree outside our living room window is very popular this morning. Two adolescent blue jays (old enough to have mastered flying (one was hovering in front of the window for a little bit before it landed in the tree) but not old enough to have gotten their blue yet (they’re grey, with the black facial markings that blue jays typically have)), one robin, and two squirrels all at once.

I feel that way too. I seem to be in my own timezone.
