We have two new black and white demons disquised as Chihuahua puppies! That makes 4 dogs... OMG what did we do!

Today I went to Walmart to do some shoppinng, and then discovered I had left my wallet at home and had no money. I called my mother and she offered to come and pay for the items and drive me back home. My brother and his family's Christmas gifts have been brought to my parents house, and the package my present was in must have weighed about 50 lbs! No wonder he didn't want to mail it to me. My mother is afraid I'll break my neck if I slip on two centimeters of snow so she started shoveling mt steps while I lugged the present along with my other parcels. I accidentally dropped the present on my foot and it really hurt and I nearly fell down the stairs and could have broken my kneck. When I finally get everything upstairs and go down to my mother she tells me I need to shovel the melting slush at the bottom of my steps before it freezes solid and becomes hazardous. This was after I told her I'd hurt my foot and then I burst into tears and my mother was bewildered. She said "You'll be all right" and she left.
I thought had bad things didn't really happen to you just because it's Monday. Or even a week or so before the time of month. Now I'm not so sure. 
On the plus side, my brothers present to me turned out to be a complete boxed set of Calvin and Hobbes books. Now that I've finally wrenched the shrink-wrap off I only now have to rip out a fingernail or two getting the books out of their box.

No worries, 43°C, thats flippin hot, maybe spray it with water a few times a day, move it a cooler position and hopefully it will live.
