SO YOU THINK IT'S BEEN A HOT SUMMER?
Pity the folks in Nebraska, where it's been so hot, farmers have had to feed their chickens cracked ice to keep them from laying hard-boiled eggs. Talk about hot - an Iowa farmer says the sun was so intense one day, his cornfield exploded into fluffy white clouds of popcorn. His cattle thought it was snowing and froze solid on the spot.
Sure, everyone complains about the weather, but one man has finally decided to do something about it. Fred Pfister, an English professor at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Mo., has compiled a list of tall weather tales - he calls them "weather windies" - that he's heard on his travels around the country. "When you're from the hills and you're out in the flatlands, the natives like to pull your leg a little bit," he said. "People always exaggerate about the weather." Pfister says he enjoys playing the straight man for old-timers, gas station attendants, store clerks or anyone else who can add to his collection of weather windies.
An Arkansan transplanted in Texas once told Pfister that "comfortable summer days in Dallas are as rare as rocking horse manure." "I love that one," he said. A North Dakotan claimed it gets so cold in his state in winter, that "words freeze in people's mouths and they have to wait until spring to find out what everyone's been talking about." And an Oklahoman swears that the wind blows so hard in the Sooner state that there was a calm day once and everybody fell down.

I have begun avoiding an older neighbour ...
who would come and say hello and try to have a conversation when the funny one was looking at ACs ...

after noticing that every time he talks he's almost exclusively looking at something he doesn't need to be looking ..

As with XH's lawyer.

Even ThoUgh this neighbour the first time he spoke to me had come running n gave the funny one a toy that belonged to his grandson once ...

and on 14th august, he came and gave funny one 2 unripe cherry tomatoes and a yellow flower from his garden.

Even though he isn't from there but he's sikh so he said something like how he likes them n went on and on (my mom later explained to me it's because recently IK's govt did something fr Sikh ppl wanting to cross over n visit their holy sites againsy their own govt s wishes)

I guess kind of like how the musical duo in Pak
created a song specifically dedicated to Canadian nurses n doctors..

I guess if anyone from another country does something special fr u or ur family/loved ones personally.... it makes u feel affectionate towards ppl from that country .
Like how a Bosnian man came up n paid fr my brothers friends food simply bcuz he recognized where they were from originally.

Funny enough an elderly neighbour directly across from me (our home is some meters' distance only from theirs) today tried to cheer up funny one...
then asked his name and said she loved it n told me she n her H were also from pak..

Turned out they are from the same city as my dad's family (i hate that city though)..they arw Christian.. I felt bad n sad hearing that as I was thinking about news articles I read in the past 2 years .. One a few months ago one last year..

Of things that happened to Christians there .. Recent one was in a village , a Pastor n his wife had rocks thrown at them...By someone...

I assumed they were from Sri lanka originally since they looked so classy and proper..the neighbours

he is still alive and in the same neighborhood. don't know if he is widowed or with GF, though. he's a wizened old man at this point.

Safe enough for me to actually translate it.

-- Coffee" I only take 'em for taste, not (for) my mind.
"Th(ese) scrawls" I accept that I'd take it slowly.
"My True Language" It may not be pictures, definitely not words... But spaces, movement, even time and states...
I've neglected the pictures because others (can) "see it". I want it hidden and obscure, alien to everyone but me. Because I cannot lock it to any place, and my head will spill --

 TLDR; It's just a something 2 days ago.
Might as well post it here if not ended up written elsewhere.
