Ok, I don't get many channels hence I don't watch the news like I used to. Just found out a really good actor died.

Anyway, it always stuns me when something rare like that happens. I would say Heath Ledger's death was the most shocking but it wasn't......don't know why.

Mine biggest shock was when Princess Dian died.

What's yours and how did it shock you?

mine is the same, cause my Mum woke me up at 7am and told me that she'd died, so it seemed like a half-dream. Whats even more shocking is how long the aftermath of her death went on for!

8O Woah, I missed that! I remember when he was captured, but I didn't know he was executed. Must've been on the road then, or something . . .

I didn't watch it, either. I'm really not into that sort of thing at all :x

There was another exectution video going around, but I didn't want to watch it (I think my brother did though, he was the one who mentioned it to me). Only, by his description, this one was way worse than a hanging could ever be.

I think I saw that one but maybe we're not talking about the same thing. I couldn't believe they had that one released right in public. Thanks to my brother in law I watched part of it but not the rest. It was a hostage.........that's all I can say. Very disturbing, I wish I hadn't seen that.

We might be talking about the same one...I'm talking about a hostage as well. I'm glad I didn't watch it, such a thing might give me nightmares, and I can usually take quite a lot.

^I never got over it and the images are still there. I guess this is why soldiers have severe cases of Shellshock or PTSD. They witness these kinds of experiences and images a lot during and after war. I couldn't imagine.

^Really, I think I did hear something like that. I didn't know it was done illegally but that wouldn't surprise me. For it to be legally televised would be shocking since they don't do that sort of thing anyway. I still wonder why it went public like that esp. on youtube. I didn't think they were serious about it until curious me saw it.

My near-death experience shocked everyone (including me).

The first video of it was legal and CNN showed it right after the execution. A couple days later the illegal video came up which was made with a cellphone camera. The quality of it was very poor. The person who shot it must have been nervous and shaking.
