you know the walks protesting the idea that a woman is asking for it if she dresses a certain way. started as a response to that toronto cops disguting comment to that affect to uni students in a safety talk which is a common attitude unfortunately.


I guess there was one here but it must not have gotten much press. I'd think it would have been a bigger deal here considering that it's only a 3 hour drive to Toronto.


Leaving work and returning to a quiet, empty home made me happy.

My internet was back this morning. Net went out yesterday a little after noon & when I called Crapcast they scheduled a tech to come out Friday. Net was back on this morning when I woke up. I suspect the net was out because they were doing some kind of maintenance or there was a problem on the main line here. I'm not canceling the tech appoint Friday thou because the tech I talked to on the phone should of known if that was what was going on & it would be good to have the tech come check on the line if that wasn't what the problem was. Hopefully the net won't go out again.

Another thing that made me happy today was a conversation I had with a few members on a Miranda Cosgrove fan site. There was a candid pic of her with some guy out in about in LA & someone made the comment that the guy seemed a little older than her & that she shouldn't be dating someone older. I said I guess I shouldn't date her because I'm older & the members said that I was different. I'm caring, protective & really sweet. It's nice to know others feel that way about me.

It made me happy instantly. It was just a thought, but it was out of place.

The shop in my housing estate was closed, I had a thought:

" Must check if there is a vending machine in the lobby "

( flash back thought from hotel tiredness, there are no lobbies here ).

i watched 5 minutes of my first eclipse this morning. then the clouds closed in on the moon and ruined it but oh well. it was so worth staying up.

made gaytastic cupcakes with (queer)youth group. managed to look one of the guys i have incredible difficulty looking at in the eyes. the womens library had a book sale. 1 dollar per book. i love saturdays.
