That sounds pretty rough. I would guess that they don't really know what autism is or they at least do not understand that it's a spectrum. I would bet that most of the autistics they've dealt with & knew that they were autistic, were at least a bit lower functioning than you are. Most of the higher functioning autistics are either not aware that they are autistic or they've learned to practice a bit of discretion when telling others about their autism diagnosis. It's also possible that you unknowingly committed something of a faux social pass. I know 1st hand that it can sometimes be extremely hard to change others 1st impressions of you no matter how wrong they are.

These media blitzes on Covid constantly ... and the new Covid delta and the pressures on people
to get vaccinated and the divisions its creating in society . And reading about parents getting reinfected From there own children after being in school And the Parents having already been vaccinated . Creates paradoxes of ideas. And if your not having a big support network on a personal level . It can all get kinda scarey. Honestly this is beginning to sound like serious psychological warfare. Its like being the last Christian in Afganistan , That could not catch a ride on the last evacuation
plane out of that Country. In ones own mind. :roll:

The Dead By Daylight gaming community is the worst ever, full of absolute gobs**tes and incels who have no life and never leave their bedroom or basement, and would never dare say the s**t they say online to anyone’s face, cos they are just pathetic little cowards who play dirty and then get mouthy even when they win. I want to study but it makes me feel dumb since i lack the necessary emotional intelligence to do my job. I feel like people Will make fun of me for trying so hard. And i kind of don't want to put an effort in anything that isn't fun.
