I can count the people I've known the past two decades on one hand that's missing a finger, and one of them was from a mental hospital. I guess that's pretty good for someone with autism, lol.

I wonder...

Is it true that a COVID test kit in UK is free?
Cause from where I came from, it's equivalent to 200USD per box of 20-25 pcs.
Apparently it was recently doubled.

Last I was such box was from my own boss' supplies -- I was told it was about 100USD equivalent for the same amount in a box.
That was few weeks ago.

They have those to travel weekly to their other branch.
And it was cheaper to have their own kit than to pay somewhere twice as much per test.

You know you spent long enough on this site, when you start to DREAM about it.

I'm quite amused by the panic buying of SARS-CoV-2 test kits around here, other than if needed for some reason. If you get a cold-like illness, it'll be such. Everyone is panic buying food too. It's not airborne Ebola, and it's been two years now, even if it's never been that bad here; you can still look at other countries with unmitigated spread and get a more objective view on things. Not to mention it's mostly all Omicron. To be fair, I'm kinda silly in my own way. I wear an N95 with a surgical mask over it and my eyeglasses, but I don't care there; I still have OCD and fear of passing it on to those I care for, but maybe this one isn't that silly, rather just thoughtful.

Got worried when a "maintenance required" light came on in my car. Found out it didn't mean anything is wrong with the car.

I genuinely thought you were not interested in me & that that was the reason you weren't talking to me. I thought that you thought I was some kind of sub-human?

Anyway, I've said so much already & I think you realise now that we have incompatible values. You are who you are. Keep doing that if that is what you wish to do. You are your own person.

Plus, you have a seemingly decent partner. Better than anything I could offer you.

There's not much more therapeutic than removing splinters.

I have come to terms with the fact that it's highly unlikely I will ever dive a rickshaw.

I wish things were so simple as being able to drive a rickshaw. In today's world you have to drive a high-speed death machine, at the mercy of other primates on the road and their mistakes, with all of the anxiety that that induces for a person.

My latest artistic offering is a fencing wire and rust installation called 'Iron Tumbleweed'.
