The jobsworth at the petrol station wouldn't turn the pump on for me at 5.15 am this freezing morning unless I took my crash helmet off.
Whilst I understand kids on scooters often fill up and ride away, I am an old man on a 44 year old motorbike dressed in old fella going to work clothing so no way did I look like one of these young hooligans on their scooters, plus I go i this station at least once a week, plus I had an open face helmet anyway.

I chose to take my custom elsewhere, I don't see why I should be made to undress in the cold because they have an issue with others.

For once, NOTHING

Today was a real case of the Mondays. (LONG)
I only got to sleep until maybe after 3 AM but I had to get up so I could spend lunch with my mother. While I'm waiting for her outside a bunch of teen boys drove by and they started hooting out "Hey honey!" and a bunch of other things I didn't understand but knew were bad. Do they think women like that? They don't think we feel angry or even threatened?? Anyway lunch was really good as usual but I really miss the pizza place mom and I used to go to but naturally, they closed down. Then my mother reminds me how I used to be good at keeping my apartment clean and she says it's not healthy. It's not like I have bugs and moldy food everywhere so what's the problem? Actually, when a couple of ladies came to clean it last week it felt kind of weird and sterile afterwards like a hospital room. She said it's hard to get back into good habits but I don't think she understands there's probably more to it than that because it's been hard to get back into a lot of things lately. My dad's birthday is this Saturday so afterwards I went to Walmart to find the Ducks Unlimited brand of socks my dad likes. I couldn't find them and was told they don't sell them any more. I might find them at the Giant Tiger store or maybe I'll get dad a book on Jamaica that he's been wanting cuz who wants socks on their birthday anyway, ha ha? Anyway I was tired and thirsty, and just wanted to go home and vegetate so I call the cab and they take maybe 30 minutes to arrive and I called back twice and they say something, like "Sorry sweetheart, we're really busy, you'll have to be patient". Finally they do arrive and I can't say anything about it because it's rude. I wanted to call a different kind of cab but I didn't have their numbers written down in my address book, and Walmart wouldn't have phone books because they don't even have phones anymore.

I guess it could be worse. At least the cab drivers where I live actually know English and don't drive like lunatics like I heard they're like in the big cities.

I have class in less than 15 minutes and I feel like a f*****g zombie. Hopefully the rockstar I have in the fridge can wake me up.

I tried searching for a job online again, and it is either not what I want, or I am underqualified for it. If I don't get a job within the next couple months, it is unlikely that I will be hired for anything due to the fact that I didn't have anything lined up (which I didn't know).

don't. salty as vege/marmite? i bought both as a dare here on WP few months ago and i still haven't finished the stuff. it is like pure salt with merely a faerie's pinch of yeast extract. it is vile. my sister compared it to burnt tires.

^ Vegemite! We often joke about how disgusting it tastes (particularly among us immigrants). Although I've lived in Australia for many years, I cannot get to like it. I don't think I ever will.

I've eaten Vegemite ever since I was a young alien and I love it! Especially on crumpets with a fried egg on top.
It looks like axle grease but it's lovely.

I belive it's something you need to have from a young age to like it.

I absolutely agree. When you are a kid and are not judgmental about food, you could get to like anything.

I made the unhealthy decision to pull another all nighter. Between now and Sunday morning I've only gotten 9 hours of sleep

I feel like crap today. Last night I got a stomach bug. I may have got it from my nephew, who had it a week earlier. I did not sleep too well last night.

I was awoken 2 1/2 hours before I needed to be by loud kids in the family.
I have been working later on than usual on my work to ensure I have the least amount to do over Spring Break (Work over break weeks is really annoying and pointless) which is why I was supposed to wake later in the day.
