I dunno. I shall just restrict myself to posting on facebook from now on. Tis easier for those of little brain.
Nooo! Don't go - I don't has (or wantses) a Facepoop account. 8O

Having never actually used Photobucket's resize jobbie, I thought I'd have a play and note the steps I used.
Executive summary: it works.

1. uploaded an 800x600 image (actually it was 800x533) to an album, then went to that album.
2. move mouse over image and select "Edit", which started Photobucket's editor.
3. select "Resize" from menu bar above the image in Photobucket's editor.
4. make sure "Keep Proportions" is checked.
5. in the "New Size" box, change 800 to 640 (it originally said 800x533).
6. (as a result of [5], the second dimension automatically changed to 426).
7. click on "Apply".
8. click on "Replace Original" button below the image.
9. click on "My Home" button on Photobox's main menu.
10. re-select the album the picture is in.
11. move mouse over image and select "Direct link" (copies location to clipboard).
12. paste location into browser address bar.
13. picture is correctly displayed, and is at the new edited size.
14. double-check the new size in another application - it's correct.

Steps [9 & 10] were just a long-hand version of "return to original album" - there may have been a button for this that I missed.
Step [11] would normally be clicking on "IMG code" if the image is being posted for the first time but since step [8] replaced the original, images already linked here will just appear at the new size.
Steps [12-14] are just me checking things.

I'm wondering if you missed clicking "Replace Original" for some images. :chin:
Have another go?

Whereabouts would you visit? There are a lot of Scottish islands that are well worth visiting, though I've never been to them. Bear in mind that there's a lot to see in the UK, so I'd generally just do one area at once and do it really well. Spend a few days in each place, ticking off the things you want to do.

Spending time in the towns and cities might be a good idea for you too, so you can go for a drink. You can find cheapish hotels and places to stay online for about £30/night.

Most pubs aren't like that - and in any case the British pub industry is undergoing a decline unprecedented in its history.

But there's lots to see and do in the UK. It depends how long you're here for. The bigger cities can take a while to explore in themselves.

My moss zen garden! 8) I started transplanting moss between the cracks in the stones at my parent's house last summer and here are the results in year 2 thus far. It has really helped keep down the erosion that was occurring after big rain storms. I tried to clean it up some for the photo but the cedar trees having been relentlessly dropping seeds on the path in the past few weeks and earlier in the summer many pieces of moss went missing because birds were making nests. :x There are several varieties of moss I have used which I have collected from around my parent's house and my dad's work.

That pub is called the Albion Inn, its a World War II recreation pub in a street in Chester with Victorian architecture. Plus its a perfect excuse to take the Mersey ferry to travel to Chester now  I dislike crossing the river though the tunnels as you miss the view up above.

lol wait to you see the gents in the Philharmonic Dining Rooms, as they got marble urinals :P
