Interesting interest crossover: I'm finding a simple Swiss Army Knife* to be far too useful when sewing. The scissors and tweezers amazingly so, for trimming or cutting with the former and tying off knots with the latter. A proper folding knife isn't all that useful.

*just an old Huntsmen in my case, but that'll be overkill since I'm only using two basic tools that the far smaller ones have; the simple Classic has those two

Yes, I'm autistic.

I’ve had my Swiss Army knife for 40 years. Yes, it is very useful for sewing and scads of other things around the house. The blades? Not so good. Mine has a magnifying glass on it. Due to being a mycologist at the time. :D Instead of the saw. :D

That'd likely be the Explorer model you have there. I've found the large blade to be fine for light stuff like cutting up/open boxes, cordage, and cleaning small fish; I just put my thumb on the spine to give it some extra strength if needed. My mother bought me the Huntsmen I use 20 years ago. Black scales. I have one with red scales too that I bought myself, but I don't use that one much.

The only thing I do to my SAKs is add a small piece of cordage to the keyring with a large knot on the end for pocket carry (usually blue, but I sometimes use pink because it's funny). Easier to pull out of your pocket with such, and it does provide a little bit of retention within said pocket too.

I still remember the first day I put on human skin.
The Will of the Great Crowd kindly allowed me to retain my original form.

It is the Eurovision song contest on the TV tonight. Can't think of a better reason NOT to watch TV.

A gator almost as long as my canoe paced me today. I don't like aggressive gators. :(

Waterproof jackets. Mud guards. Plastics. Rain coat. Possibly an umbrella hat.
