You could use a propellant to fire a putty charge, and with two chambers, it would be possible to put two colors. Of course, this is where the part about a stannic tube comes in...

Congratulations to Albirea! Why not just a fireworks display featuring dragons?

I'm pretty sure it would destroy the tube, too.

Synthesize styrofoam on its slippery surface with ethylbenzene!

Fish-shaped ethylbenzene?

:) It should work (in personal mental theory/concept), the styrene monomer feels like it should fold in a similar way.

(This seems to be analogous to what is described as tension and resolution in music.)

Similar in what way?

They just, "feel," similar with the theme of the long chain connected to the phenyl. Maybe the industrial use for ethylbenzene IS styrofoam production. Styrene, of course, has an vinyl group instead of an ethyl group, but is it not plausible that the industry pulls the hydrogen atoms from two ethylbenzene molecules to form two styrene molecules and diatomic hydrogen?

I seem to be getting increasingly distracted.

I kind of see what you mean there. Now back to power, Taylor, and MacLaurin series.
The wristband in my MIT tube said "STRONGFORCE". I didn't get it until I thought about it in a scientific context.

So it only works at distances so short that intuitive physics breaks down?

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of comparing the strong nuclear force to inseparable friendship and teamwork that MIT is known for (or has advertised).
