I expect he probably would make a bad mother, what with all the other people he has to protect in Japan and Strood. I don't suppose he'll have much time for children on top of all that.

Unless they are Syngnathidae, or Rabbitearsian. but you're right in certain aspects, as the male only "mothers" during the gestation period. After that, Seahorses, Pipe Fish, and Rabbitearsians alike, become the Father.
