I thought of you again today when I saw a row of a certain thing, and they were very big, almost as tall as my sister.

My sister is quite small for her age. She's 8, but looks younger. Acts like it too.

Oh, I just figered it out!
English Jess isn't referring to cones; she saw a row of giant ten pence pieces!
A line of four foot diameter golden (copper?) coins glittering in the sunlight!
I wish she had taken a picture, I would have liked so much to see them!
They are probably a beloved English tourist attraction, like Stonehenge and Borley Rectory!

Sylkat :D

In DF, I just cleaned out a lot of a human town's militia with a modded dwarf.

Unfortunately, none of them had enough water to allow me to autoclave them, but at least the cremation services were free and no necromancer could ever put them back together.

Apparently, the wiki has this for the concept of the lever room:

"G.L.A.D.O.S. - Genetic Lifeform and Dwarf Operating System"

:o
