It smelled like circularity. Like something on an arc coming back around to its point of origin. Only the arc was so wide it hadn't been noticed. And it had taken so long to come around that it no longer recognised that it had been there before.

How does a takeaway restaurant accept an order via Uber Eats (or any external food delivery service) when it is closed I better get refunded

Here you can complain on customer service which takes forever, and sometimes get a refund. Other times they just give you an Uber Eats credit but that takes about 48 hours to show up. Half the time they bring the wrong food, too.
