Well, almost all of the Emperor's troops are about 200 miles away, because he's completely incompetent. Previously, his elderly uncle was secretly "advising him" (doing everything that required thinking about more than dinner), but then on his 101st birthday, he died.

listening to Netanela and my dog bark at something right outside the window. probably out in the driveway or on the street. when i check, i never see anything of particular interest or anything that stands out that i think she'd bark at. unless it's the cat, then i TOTALLY understand.

probably some stupid thing only dogs understand.
