Yeah, I wasn't really looking at your photos like art work but that picture just brought to mind a picture of freighters trying to cross into the left side of the image and people firing the cannons at them to save history... or something. They are good photos though and I enjoy looking at them. I'll be quiet now! : :)

OK, here's some more. A lot of these have actually been posted here before anyway:

Malta Bus Company yellow bus. These have since all been scrapped to comply with EU regulations, much to the sadness of both residents and tourists alike:

Where else have you been? I don't really wanna trawl through your account trying to find stuff, partly because i'm lazy and partly because your eye is much better than mine. It like the descriptions too. Pah, im so lazy.

Oh, bother.

From the top:

Non-UK:

  • Canada
  • Cyprus (including the unrecognised 'Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus')
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Estonia
  • Finland
  • Ireland
  • Malta (and Gozo)
  • Poland
  • Portugal (and also Madeira)
  • Sweden
  • Spain (and also Majorca and Lanzarote in the Canary Islands

I've been to various parts of England, North Wales, some of the Isle of Man, a lot of Northern Ireland and Gibraltar.

That's a nice list. I've been to about half of them but only for work, I've never been out of the country on my own.

Where's the favorite place you've been?

Some more views from Mdina in Malta:

The main gate at Mdina:

The Saqqajja Snack Bar in Rabat:

The Farsons Brewery Shop at Mrieħel. Stock a wide range of goods and are very friendly inside and stock the entire range of Farsons beers. Apart from Farsons beer there isn't a great deal of choice but that goes for the entire island so that's not too big a deal if you're just here on your hols:

Toss up between Northern Ireland, Denmark and Malta. I'd post photos of my Northern Ireland experiences but there's almost 1,000 of them, many of them of parades, so it's not worth the hassle.

OK, a couple from my trip out to Blackpool today.

A branch of Royal Bank of Scotland in Layton, which is on the outskirts of Blackpool if you like:

After this we went to Blackpool and parked up.

I was feeling rather hungry so we stopped off at this tea room/café which was in fact part of a hotel.

Here's the interior of the tea rooms:

My mum's meal: a prawn sandwich.

And my own: a cheese salad.

I did take some more but these will have to do for now. :)
