I don't mind it. I move into the east side of my flat in the winter and it's a lot quieter anyway.

I used to love it when I was a kid. There was a bonfire on almost every street corner and the air was thick with smoke everywhere. I'd go t school the next day with smokey eyes.

There's nothing like that these days. It's all too organised.

I loved to collect the sticks for model railways...

But never liked the bangs and sudden noises and fizzles!

Yeah. Even when I was a kid bonfire night seemed more chaotic.

I am anxious about being hit by a firework when around them so I have never really enjoyed bonfire night, though when I was a kid I liked the atmosphere of it all at bonfire displays and such.

I have a vague memory of being chased by a stray Catherine wheel once when I was a teenager.
