Busy hands are happy hands.

I am getting a lot done today.

I'm not a football fan really, but I would have liked to have seen Leeds United having achieved promotion today in the play-off final against Southampton.

Unfortunately, as per their usual record, they played poorly in the play-off final and lost at the final hurdle.

I think I have a cursed finger. Every laptop I touch breaks.

My kitty boy has a vet appointment today.

I love communicating over text as I can plan out my words carefully and nobody hears my voice.

Sigh...

No, you fools.
I'm not becoming 'more neurotypical' for being 'more attentive and become more proactively prosocial'.

I just gained a degree of sensory space and processing over social cues that just makes it all so easy to follow through.
And finally able to apply concepts that I already knew from years of trial and error, years of reading anecdotes and research, years of living experiences and mistakes.

This means I just have more choices around 'people'; if I can easily 'conform', it meant I can master the rules.
Mastering the rules means getting away with said rule breaking and loopholes.


My first priority is still is not 'proactive prosocial'. My default is not the same as NTs still.

I can always choose to participate or not participate.
Read the script, throw away the script or don't speak at all.
Be involved, be at the center stage, be a wallflower or be invisible.



I did not 'grow'.
More like... An unwanted parasite that caused some form of arrested development is no longer eating my EF's space and living rent free in my head.
So I'd finally able to use my autistic brain to it's fullest than wasting my time too overwhelmed and just 'coping'.

And the hell?
Just because I became more socially 'better', doesn't mean much the same with other things that DO mattered more to me; like my senses for one.
