Not really a hobby, no. I was temporarily working on a camera review magazine and I had to test out a digital camera - this would have been early 2000s so early days for digital cameras - and that was one of the pictures I took. It didn't get used in the magazine. I thought it was a good demonstration of the camera's close up abilities. They thought it was 'a bit weird'.

As for bb's demands that I prove it, I cannot. That is the picture, it's not cut down or anything. I suggest she prints it out at life scale then heads out into the wilderness in search of a donkey, and hold it up against the muzzle for confirmation.

Donkey muzzles are great fun, if you can find an accommodating donkey. Horse muzzles are good too. They're a sensory playground.

I love horses me but I don't think I've ever been near a donkey but one of my all time favourite songs is Little Donkey
