There's absolutely no shortage of noise round our way in the summer months

Booming, banging, whizzing, sawing, drilling, loud hailers, car doors, smoke alarms, sirens, car stereo, dogs barking, birds tweeting, kids playing, downstairs television blaring quiz show repeats through the open window....oh and someones having a blazing row so ive turned my telly down for that

I actually don't hear it all most of the time and then my ear cocks and it's like an incompatible orchestra clattering all at once

I kind of like it.

You don't get to hear all this life during the winter time

There isn't enough chocolate for me to perk up at the moment. Maybe an hour or so, still.

At the same time, there's no craving.

It's best this way.
Good for my wallet, too.
