That's how she pays for food though.

That's a very good point.

I try to not lose sight of why people do things before condemning them for doing those things.

Harassing sex workers doesn't make sex work vanish because as long as there's people who are willing to pay, and people who need money, someone's going to see it as a way to get the money they need to put food on the table.

Picking on her isn't going to make her living expenses go away. The worst part is that the stigma people who do that sort of work get makes it harder for them to find other careers later on.

Bandicoots like tuna.
Magpies like rib fillet (lucky buggers)
Wallabies like home baked bread, but not that store bought rubbish.
Our wildlife is posh.

I hereby declare this to be Halo's corollary to "SH!T HAPPENS!"

I learned this about food as a kid. I would pick out the bits I didn't like and absentmindedly flick them across the room. Some of them are still there.
I also learned that my parents didn't like this, but that didn't stop me from doing it.

I guess I was a little envious about how some people get on so well with members of the opposite sex but that was no reason for me to say what I did. I haven't been able open up to opposites since a bad experience in College 30 years ago. I was also envious of how easy cis people seem to have it so easy as well. I'll apologize the next time I see her.

I also think that there should be programs in place that would help sex workers transition into respectable careers with practicums. I feel like such a brute now. I regret saying what I said to her.

Try to not dwell too much on guilt, overall you're a good guy. Nobody's perfect and everyone has room to grow.

As much as possible it's good to think about if one's actions are adding to another person's burdens, and if so, what justifies it. It can be hard to be consistent in that outlook (especially if you have to deal with people who'd never consider your burdens), but all-and-all it helps me have fewer moments of realizing I was a brute in hindsight.

Whether it's something I realize in hindsight on my own, or something I've been called out for, even fairly minor stuff tends to stick with me.

In a lot of ways you're quite bright, at least from what I can see. Smart people can have moments of not thinking before they act too, it can be hard to control impulses sometimes. Just so long as one learns from their mistakes.

I wonder what my sleep forecast is for the rest of the night. I'll probably be up in another 2 hours for another drink or as the British would say, beverage.

I need some Xylitol in the worst way. I've slept through the night with that many times.

I also plan to have pasta for dinner as well. The meat is already in the oven. I hate the word, oven. I don't know. It just scares me.

I just filled up the bottle of hand sanitizer I keep in my pocket. It's been empty for the last six months even though refilling it was the easiest thing I've ever done.

Now I just have 7,629 more extremely easy things that I've avoided doing for six months...
