It feels as though the world is slowly withering, like a flower nearing the end of its cycle. The vibrancy of life seems to be draining away, one petal at a time. Even the simplest pleasures... like food seems to have lost its flavor. What is happening?

Not everyone can comprehend that fitting in and belonging are not necessarily the same thing.
