If a fox doesn't catch a rabbit, does it beat itself up about it for the next seven years?

Wanting to finish a paper that is due on Thursday, but I'd rather finish it in a place where I can't be bothered.

If I'm brain damaged, how come I can work out mountains of code that un-brain-damaged people can't work out?

Meanwhile, I forget that the sun burns you and that humans need to drink water.

I don't care if you're maimed, molested, abused, traumatized, brainwashed, repressed, suppressed, triggered, shell-shocked, or dehumanized. I don't care if you're a survivor or a victim of any sort of tragedy. I don't care if you're suicidal or whining or demanding for respect or accommodation or whatever you're deprived of.
Just be glad you're alive, that there are still possibilities in the future. Your comfort is NOT my job and I have no right to say that I understand you.

to an extent, i agree with you. the past is the past, it doesn't exist anymore. we should live in the present.

but on the other hand, i don't think you understand the difference between attention-seekers and people who are truly suffering. psychological disorders are crippling, and consuming

Of course I do know the difference.
But what's the use of sympathy if it doesn't help anyone? Or even makes matter worse?

I have to get dressed and drive to the next town. I hope they have skins for Japanese dumplings because I a) don't want to make my own and b) they suck when I do. I intend to marinate soy "chicken" and see if that works as a filling for steamed dumplings and dipping sauce. Mm.

I have gotten my first official warning. Does anyone know how many warnings it take to become banned?
Anyway it was a "result" of the combination of strong emotions and alcohol, and not directed at ONE person in particular, but I agree it was wrong of me.

If I was governing on a local level, I'd kick out those who tend to be way too friendly with special interest groups, for my concern is the people of the local community as a whole..
