I found this online recipe for home-made honeycomb toffee covered in chocolate (similar to the Cadbury Crunchie bars we have in Canada), but I got so much chocolate at Christmas I might not start making it until later in January. Maybe I'll make it for Valentine's Day. :chef:

I wonder what honeycomb made with maple syrup instead of sugar tastes like.
What happens when maple syrup caramelises?

I'm struggling to correct my posture today and I'm in so much pain

It feels like my spine has crumbled under the stress of the past few days

Call me a dinosaur but I didn't know fireworks worked in the rain

It's absolutely belting it down here but I can still hear bangers going off

At least I've sorted my spine out for the bells

It's incredible what a tennis ball can do

The first part of fireworks show preparations (after design and purchase) is sealing everything into plastic bags and marking fuse points.
On deployment and anchoring the electric fuses are connected and taped to waterproof, mortars are bagged and the wiring run. This is usually done the day before, so the show may be exposed to rain for 24hours or more. A hand lit show (which is way more fun, intimate, dangerous and concussive) will rarely proceed during anything heavier than drizzle.

I do so miss my pyro ticket.

Yesterday I watched a high-quality homemade TV series on a Chinese website. A lot of communist content appeared undisguised in the series, which is impossible under the strict censorship of Chinese video websites. I was shocked. This may indicate that the central government has changed its mind or there is an internal struggle.

I like the day after Valentine's Day. That's when the birthday of a certain member of a certain band.

If you "could care less" then you need to try harder
