Yeah, if someone gets whacked with the blade of the stick it can cause some nasty abrasions.

That said, I've never seen it happen in 3 seasons of playing so I understand why the other league doesn't care.

It's weird because the league on Friday allows players to not wear helmets, but somehow they're stricter on this issue.
