What kind of parasites?
The human hookworm. There's some studies and a lot of anecdotal evidence that they help with allergies, sometimes people have had diseases like Chrohns and Celiacs go into complete remission. Others who have had food allergies and eczema have had great success.
The HW lives in symbiosis with their host, sending out a signal into the host to lower their immune defenses, so the parasite can survive. Humans and animals generally have learnt to live with parasites. Seeing as people are too hygenic these days, and the link between people living on farms (for instance) and their lack of allergies, it would explain massively the link between peoples' increasing allergies and gut problems these days, which I've been researching. It doesn't seem to be just probiotics we need, in fact they've never helped me. Having said that, I lack the Bifidobacterium, which is impossible to get in sufficient quantities in England, or it was.
There's even parasites around, like the pig whipworm, that has helped autistics and behaviour. There's a lot of anecdotal evidence for that.
My theory for a while was that there was some new chemical, that must've been introduced in our food or water supply that's made peoples' immune systems go into overdrive, but another theory I have is whether that chemical has killed off some sort of beneficial parasite that we host (or maybe bacteria), or keeps killing them off? For instance, nitrous oxide kills off the HW, and that's found in squirty cream. Not that I think the introduction of squirty cream has made much difference to peoples' immune systems, as it's been around for a while. But something like that.
