Throughout my life I have struggled to define a friend, what is a friend really?
If settled on the explanation that a friend is someone who talks to you without an inherent need.

My robot friend says:

The bond of friendship can vary in depth and nature, but at its core, it involves a sense of connection and caring between individuals."

I think that's about right. It spelled "characterised" wrong from a British perspective, but I'm prepared to let that go. It can't help being American any more than I can help being English.

Interesting description. If you go by that I have 0 friends. To me that more describes a love interest. All that sharing feelings stuff is just not normal for men to do around their friends.
Maybe I just dont get that close to "friends" that I have experienced it that way.

I was just watching a guy feeding his dogs raw chicken at the bus stop

Strange looking dogs as well they were
Like something from another land

Quite cute though in a nother worldly way
