the word codswallop just came into my head. i have no idea what it means. but i do know according to spell check it is a word

It was hot and the road was dusty. I mean, it was a dirt road, if you catch my drift. All that goes along with a dirt road? Image of? In any case, we eventually decided to rest. It was an oak tree we rested under. A huge oak tree. Thirty feet high and so forth. Don?t climb up there, I said. I was ten and Mike was twenty-five, and here I was saying, Don?t climb up there! He was making his way up the tree. I opened my case and took the guitar into my arms. I began playing all minor chords, the ones I was attracted to the most. The most complicated chords, the darkest too, in my opinion. I looked up, Mike was having a seizure. I?ll catch you, I said. Don?t worry, he said, I?ll just try to balance myself on this huge limb. I kept on playing until he fell out of the tree. He didn?t move. I ran for help. An hour later an ambulance arrived. About twenty homesteaders were circled around Mike. Mike was crushed dead. Mike sure was one ignorant son-of-a-bitch to have climbed that tree.

It's cloudy, yet very hot out here.
