I had a bottle of water with me and I tipped some into my hands and wiped under my arms. It seemed to do the trick.

Why do front-facing cameras really make me look like a tired 80-year-old with a huge chin, no matter what angle?

I would have preferred to go into the bathroom and quickly rub a bit of soap in my armpits but I couldn't see a sign to the toilets anywhere and I felt too shy to ask lol. I become self-conscious around strangers.

Because I'm just that slow at replying evidently :skull:
Nah I'd been meaning to quite a few times, this was my home for many years and where I met some of my best friends

Have you gotten a new home since your prolific activity on WP?

I'm guessing social media?

Yea, I mean I actually felt rather attractive when looking in the mirror while having my hair cut, but as soon as I tried taking a selfie of my new hairdo to post on Facebook, my face looked like a rectangle and my chin looked about finger-length long and fat. I couldn't post that on Facebook.

I wonder how that even happens

Since the pandemic I've lost a lot of my confidence. I'm just afraid to look stupid in front of people, as I often see other women stare and I never know if they're staring to judge or just staring because it's what people do when someone is doing something. I understand the latter is more likely, but when you have social anxiety it can feel more personal and then you become self-conscious.

Did the pandemic do you some psychological damage?

I think you are right, social anxiety makes things seems more personal and makes you more self conscious.

Do you think you feel a certain pressure by certain women

I mean it's really difficult because I've never really been in your shoes but I've heard women say that they feel a pressure to be something

I don't know what that something is though

Oh yes, it was really long, like almost down to my waist, so now it's back to being just past the shoulders. The guy cutting my hair was friendly and I felt relaxed.
