I wish real-life was like Kill Bill, and when someone loses a limb, they spray blood like a fountain.

It's 10:30 and I'm not going to bed. I could wash my face again, though. Somehow, my face gets more oily, when I stay up, past my bedtime. I need to pee, anyways, and as a fellow member once said, the best place for pee, is in the toilet, being that my bladder is one of the two organs that I have control over. Too much information.

It's beautiful (even though you can shoot .22 Special rounds in the Magnum version, it'd be cool if they had a specific .22 Special version only):

South African NTW-20 anti-material rifle. Sadly, firearms firing .50BMG [and larger] rounds are prohibited in Brisbane (I'm betting the 20-mm rounds are too). I believe you can get them in some states though, as I recall seeing other bolt-actions in .50BMG for sale outside of Brisbane.

You can get Barrett M99 bolt-actions [and others] chambered in .416 Barrett (a necked down .50BMG case firing a .416 diameter bullet instead of a .50 cal one. It's actually a better round for long range shooting), but at around $10,000, I'll pass. Plus, the neighbors would think I'm blowing up stuff with homemade explosives (BOOM!).

I'll stick to 12 gauge slugs if I want to make really big holes in things (12 gauge works out to .729 in diameter, or about 18.5-mm). Hell, you can get a single-shot 12 gauge for like $50, add in a the slugs, which are about $1 a piece, and you can have the same amount of fun (probably more pain on the shoulder though).

Hey, some of us aren't super-duper rich hang-around-the-water-cooler workers now. :P Poor old mountain hicks can only afford .22s and 12 gauges to satisfy their pow! and boom! needs (add in the occasional .223 for the crack! needs).

Addendum, it might be legal here in Brisbane, as I recall that the Soviet 14.5-mm round isn't prohibited. I'm betting it'd be more than ten thousand though.
