I've just had a manic case of the giggles.

I just figured out that the reason why I had difficulty letting go of my Alice in Wonderland obsession is because it was something that I shared with my mom. I don't mean that she was obsessed with it as well; I mean that my love of Alice in Wonderland was closely associated with my love for my mom, because she's the one who took time out of her busy schedule to take me to see it at the cinema. She's also the one who told me that I was just like Alice, a remark that I took to heart and turned into an epic imaginary adventure.

I'm very sad that that era of my imagination is over, but at least now I have found something else which inspires me and fills my heart with joy. Hopefully I can come up with a new imaginary adventure to partake in that is just as fun, if not more so, than my Alice-inspired one (though I admit that that one will be difficult to top!)

Here's a hug, Alex.

Neither will I. I'm here to stay.

I'm not going away either. This is my home on the Internet. Love me or hate me, just don't expect me to leave. 8)

Exactly! I have learned that there are certain rooms of this home that I don't go in anymore.

The only way to describe my thoughts: :D

I love alliteration. Nearly all of my usernames (Actually my real name is alliteration too) are made around it.

Very occaisionally, when I'm alone in the house, I wrap my work tie around my forehead like a rambo style bandana, put Creedence Clearwater Revival - Fortunate Son on the stereo, full volume, light up a Marlboro Red, and pretend i'm in Vietnam.

Anyone else?

I was away for four hours. I went to my volunteer job and it felt good to take that little break. I'm back and I'm ready to post and have fun. :)

Oh god, another random truth about myself. When I'm in the shower, I tilt my arm downwards and pretend i'm from x-men or a squirtle or something.

I was a hippie, a punk rocker and Mod in the past.

Sometimes I like to daydream about dressing up in elaborate princely costumes and performing interpretive dances to my favourite songs along with a dance troupe (who are also dressed up in elaborate costumes, but playing different "roles" in the piece). I imagine going on talent shows such as America's Got Talent and advancing through the rounds.

This is one daydream I would love to make a reality. Things that are stopping me include lack of money, lack of dancing ability and lack of connections to people who would actually be willing to perform my pieces with me.

I've learned to accept myself, because my parents never accepted me.

One of my favourite foods at the moment is cheese bagels.
