It's a wet one today. It's raining cats and dogs.

Got rhinitis right now. I actually haven't had this for a few months. But my husband won't come near me because he thinks it's flu. I swear it is not a virus of any kind. It's entirely non-contagious. I've tried reassuring him but he's still edgy. I'm just waiting for my nasal passages to clear so that I can prove to him that it is not a cold or a flu or anything like that.

I'm taking a break from my crafts tonight. The yarn in my bag got wet on my walk home and so did the notebook that I count my rows with.

I remember when my sister was a kid she had a beanbag but wouldn't let anybody sit on it, not even herself, because she'd spent ages smoothing out all the creases with her hands and wanted it to stay like that. Then when me and my brother sat in it she began crying.

But what's the point in having a beanbag if you're not ever going to sit in it? She often treated everything like an ornament, even her toys.

Today is my last shift of the year. I go back on the 4th of January. That is a good break.
