If you want to start visiting a gym to maintain a good physical well-being,
don't say anything about it, just do it.

When you get back home, tell people where you were regardless
of what their reactions will be.

I sat on my glasses yesterday and now the arms are just very slightly out of alignment.

The world is nearly as it ought to be but in some strange indefinable way... squidgy.

I still don't feel the New Years vibe. The Kinks Fan started out the day and than the German took over. Christmas Eve is much more exciting.

It's Blanduary again. My New Year's resolution is to get through January without coffee or energy drinks by any means possible. That means keeping my tree up for another month. It's funny what my dad said about me 10 years ago in the summer. He said to my mum that I've always acted like a German.

i plan to make 3 more doll hats, 5 balls and 5 dishcloths with the yarn I'm using now. I plan on doing the same with a skein of yarn that has warm colours as well.

I've said some pretty dark things about January, yesterday. I apologize for that. I know some of you like January. I've had a lot of bad things happen to me in the month of January over the years. My worst was the January of 2007.

Saying "Everyone's a little autistic" is like someone telling you they're pregnant and then you say, "Everyone's a little bit pregnant". So don't say it.

I'll pretend that January is December and things will be fine.

I was flicking through Sebastian Melmoth looking for a quote I did not find.

"There are moments when one has to choose between living one's own life fully, entirely, completely, or dragging out some false, shallow, degrading existence that the world in its hypocrisy demands."

"All sympathy is fine, but sympathy with suffering is the least fine mode."

"The happy people of the world have their value, but only the negative value of foils. They throw up and emphasise the beauty and the fascination of the unhappy."

"Comfort is the only thing our civilisation can give us."

"People talk so much about the beauty of confidence. They seem to entirely ignore the much more subtle beauty of doubt. To believe is very dull. To doubt is intensely engrossing. To be on the alert is to live, to be lulled into security is to die."

"One should sympathise with the joy, the beauty, the colour of life. The less said about life's sores the better."

"It is so easy for people to have sympathy with suffering. It is so difficult for them to have sympathy with thought."

"It is immoral to use private property in order to alleviate the horrible evils that result from the institution of public property."

"A community is infinitely more brutalised by the habitual employment of punishment than it is by the occasional occurrence of crime."

If you are in emotional distress and need someone to reach out (but US only), use 988.

They ought to make a film called 'Emetophobia'; about a beastly pandemic of a norovirus type thing that nobody has immunity to, and everyone around is throwing up. It would be the perfect horror movie for people with Emetophobia, if they're looking for thrill.
