That supper that I warmed up in the microwave. I had corn and some meatballs mixed in with my baked potato. :)

Slipping (okay, okay, squeezing) into some blue jeans a size smaller than I was able to wear in middle school. :D
Having a productive and healthy conversation about our feelings with my new guy.
Getting to talk with my mom about my fourth of July plans.
Eating some cucumbers my grandfather picked fresh from his own garden- reveling in how oddly-shaped they were, and how much more flavorful than the big, largely-identical ones I get from my grocery in the city.
Fantasizing about having my own garden one day and living more sustainably, in a place where I can form a connection to soil and the land.

i saw a man driving in a truck today in the opposite direction (to my direction of travel) on the other side of the road, and it was a slow and very bumpy road because road works were in progress, and i was waiting behind a lollipop girl's "stop" sign, and i was watching a truck that was headed toward me, and i noted that the driver was red headed and he looked easily "enrageable" (even though i have little empathy, i can tell when someone is easily derailed due to my ODD).

he had a "subway" kind of roll that he was eating as he was driving toward me, and after he took his first bite, he held the steering wheel with both hands (the hand that he was holding the subway meal in was closest to the driver side window), and he hit a severe pot hole that threw his subway lunch from his hand out of his window, and i caught a few milliseconds of his facial expression as he went past me , and i got the "go" sign from "lollipop", and i drove for a few hundred meters, and then i had to pull over because i was laughing so intensely.

sometimes it gets scary when i laugh, because i seem to get "drunk" on absurdities when i fall into a laughing fit, and it is like a fire that no one understands so they can not put it out.

Found an old CD I forgot I had from my teen years. I'm now listening to it and giggling over the fact that I thought it was awesome 10 years ago.

Having the house to myself for several hours. It's the first time in two weeks that we haven't had company over. I'd forgotten how nice it is to settle down with a good book and enjoy it in silence.
