What's the last weirdest dream you had?

I had a nightmare, my first in a long time. I so want to get it out of my head.

I had another dream that was more than a little disturbing: basically, think Jurassic Park with a father and his two young kids desperately trying to survive, and encountering a small pink fur-less dog thing that suddenly mutates its head into a giant mouth lined with needle-like sharp things and with human teeth inside the mouth. At least the family made it off the island [apparently they were flown out by helicopters or something?], but then it turned out that the little girl had become infected or something from the dog thing.

Dreamt I was facing a mirror and painting my face a pale flesh colour with a 3/4 flat sable paintbrush.
As I painted, a new face began to emerge.

I dreamed I was in a huge luxurious bathing fountain. There was soothing music playing, the air felt nice and the water was soothing. Water was flowing down and away, I splashed some on me and it felt so cleansing. (Mentally as well as physically) It was a completely relaxed sensory friendly environment.

A male figure appeared behind me and started to help splash and I turned around and smiled. I felt my heart swell at his presence and was so happy.


..and then my sister woke me up.

^No, but only because I don't cuss when my parents are in the vicinity. I was very crabby.

I had a dream last night as bad as the night before's was good. I'm not sure if I want to recount it or not.

I really don't feel right putting a description of assault out there for people to see that didn't even really happen irl. I tried to forget the worst of the details and talked about it a bit with my bf, that was enough. I think I am more bothered wondering why I have such dreams so often rather than the dream itself.

I've had those. Even weirder was a date rape dream I had about a friend of mine. In the dream, I was furious that he'd tried something to which I hadn't consented, and I even ran through the whole scenario of worrying about whether or not I should bother pressing charges. This person is a good friend, but this messed up dream made me really analyze how I felt about him and the unspoken concerns that led me to have such an awful dream. It's so interesting how little concerns turn into nightmare scenarios in the dreamworld.

A few nights ago i dreamed that some people were after me over a misunderstanding. I managed to steal a laser from them & I ran out of shots. I hid in the bathroom & was looking for a tool I could use to work on the laser & see if there was any way I could get more shots.

I dreamt I was in my parent's old house with my parents and sister, and my brother and his wife came by for a visit, it was near dusk outside, and I noticed that my brother wasn't appearing to be too healthy, both him and his wife were bloated and were wearing insulin pumps. then It occurred to me that if I wanted to avoid their fate that i'd better go outside and have a good hard fast walk. then I awoke from the dream and did just that.

I don't know if it was a waking reverie or some heretofore unknown altered state of consciousness, but when I was on my daily neighborhood fitness walk, I suddenly was overcome with an overpowering sweet scent that upon further reflection, was the exact scent of the perfume my late mother liked to wear. it lasted until I reached my front door. there was a feeling of peace and hope that came with it.

I dreamed I went to a tennis tournament and actually met my favorite players. I also dreamed I had checked out some travel books about Russia from the library. I wondered why I chose Russia. Then I remembered one of my favorite tennis players is Russian-Denis Istomin.

I had another bizarre dream, I dreamt I was one of a trio of flying superheroes, and I had a pet lizard that I kept in a large and ornate [gold gilding and wood paneling and crystal chandeliers everywhere but almost no furniture, empty] classical mansion. the lizard grew up into a pink and red monster that had snapping jaws, and I visited him and it tried to eat me so I flew up through the roof somehow as it chased me with its snapping jaws, and then from a good distance above the mansion I sent down lightning bolts from my mind and destroyed the whole place with the monster lizard in it, it went up in smoke. then I awoke. strange, no?

Russia
