One of my current imaginary friends is Imaginary Helena, or I.H. for short. As you might have guessed, I.H. is a fictionalized version of Helena Bonham Carter. Her personality is partially based on the character of Karen Knightly in the film Sweet Revenge - mischievous, childlike and cheerful.

She is also based partially on Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd - lovestruck, competitive for the object of her affections and motherly. Who is she in love with? Me! Hey, it's my imagination, and if I can't have the Real Helena, then who's to say I can't have an imaginary version of her instead?

Another current imaginary friend of mine is Ari from the 2001 version of Planet of the Apes. Her personality is more or less the same as in the film. She is also in love with me and competes with Imaginary Helena for my affections. They are the first set of imaginary friends I've had who don't get along with each other.
