Most of what I know about the English language comes from video games and bilingual dictionaries. That's why my English seems somewhat broken at times.

I've spoken with a Cockney accent since I've muttered my first word. Nobody else in my family speaks with a Cockney accent. I love being different.

I fell asleep after a Biology test today and was so asleep after a mere twenty minutes that I didn't even hear the bell ring. The person next to me said she poked me a couple of times and I didn't even wake up; I finally woke up to the sounds of people pushing in their chairs (science classrooms are practically the only classrooms in my school that don't have the chairs attached to the desk, because we use tables in science.)

Similarly, I learned to speak with an English accent from watching movies and television featuring English characters. Before I started watching them and practicing, my mom said that my accent was really bad. Now she says it's better and my dad says that I could at least pass as someone from Europe. I'm going to keep practicing my English accent until I perfect it!
