Kevinjh, what game is DF? Whenever I think of DF, I think of degrees of freedom from statistics.

Dwarf Fortress, the free, easily moddable [!?] simulation of a group of crazy, tantrum-prone idiots in the same area where there is some kind of mental block against the proper use of soap for all except the infirmed. It is one of the few current games that rely almost solely on RAMemory instead of graphics memory, and people have constructed calculators and what can be considered Rube Goldberg machines for tasks as mundane as applying the Dwarven Atom-Smasher for garbage disposal to automatically irrigating farmlands.

I think I remember something like that! Is it that game you were talking about a few months ago, in which losing is the goal?
