I make people happy and interested... By stimming.

Technically, they are deceived: They don't know that crocheting is my form stim.

To remedy that, I told them it's a stim and a special interest.

But... They are still deceived by illusions, by not understanding what I mean by 'stimming'. All they know is that I really, really like crafting. :x Lol.

People I like are unhappy by nature, and that makes me unhappy on their behalf.
However it is hard for me to connect with people who don't have a deep-seated unhappiness.

Hm.

Two of the people I have crushes on were nice to me yesterday :D I'm far too shy to tell them I like them, but it's nice to know they don't hate me or anything.

I didn't know there was a Pikachu float. Would that have been your favorite part of the parade? Is there other Pokemon stuff?

Hey, anyone know how to get rid of that mental fog that comes with catching a cold? I can't focus on anything.

There was! I think it passed when it went into a commercial break. :(

I have mental fog today, too. I woke up around 11:00 and went back to bed. The next thing I know, it's 1:00!

I have a cold/mental fog too. Clearly it's spreading through Wrong Planet.

Also on my mind is a doctor's appointment next Friday. The surgery phoned me and left a message asking me to call back. I called back and they said they had a message for me - to book an appointment. I said why and the receptionist lady said she didn't know. So I took the next available slot they had on the 2nd :? .

I wasn't expecting anything like this, I'm not worried but I am apprehensive. Why on earth would I be summoned by my GP?

It could be something as simple as a medication review, my GP summons me every six months for them, regardless of my seeing him during those 6 months.

So scared I am going to get laid off after the holiday season. I finally found a job I can do, but I have a feeling it all will be over soon :(

^ I hope that doesn't happen TheSilentOne - what makes you think it will?

I'm not on any medication :| . But some kind of review maybe, yeah, I can't think what else it could be... A little heads-up about what to expect would be nice though, since they know I'm autistic/anxious and all  .

Well that sucks...

I am going to have to open my super expensive gaming rig in the coming days, that is just annoying. I don't like to mess with parts that expensive probably because of low self confidence I guess. I know the basic technical rules. That hard drive that died a while back is doing the click of death now. I evidently didn't realize how screwed that drive was and I should have removed it a long time ago. I didn't notice it because I never rebooted or shutdown actually and never called out to the drive. My uptime was a few months 8)

Of course it hibernated most of that, don't want waste power.

I hate sketchy doctor's appointments :( I hope it's just the doctors following up, Racheypie. Maybe you could get a nurse on the phone and ask about your last test results? Anyhow, feel better. Hopefully I will, too. :) At least a 12-hour night's sleep cleared away some of the fog but I'm still tired. Glad I don't have any obligations just now.

DCJ, is that failed HD running your OS? Can you just disable it so you don't have to take the whole system apart?

It's a seasonal job, they hired me for Christmas help. The manager said they try to keep most people on after the holidays, but sometimes the budget doesn't allow that.
