Losing is not the goal, but since it is impossible to win, losing is inevitable. The reason for why losing is fun is that playing the game at all will eventually result in losing, but some fun is gained while playing (and inevitably losing).

I think I have the mental concept of the syllabic system fairly well now. All that remains is a short study on the feet of birds and how they may be used to write or grasp writing instruments.

Perhaps you might want to consider other ways of writing for bird-based creatures, other than sticks.

I'm going to use those sticks to write in the sand. If... what I said made sense.

It turns out that syntax is critical to meaning for birds. Therefore, the more mammalian (variety? sub-species?) cannot use Latin, which is very flexible concerning word placement (agricola terram amat, agricola amat terram, amat agricola terram, amat terram agricola, terram agricola amat, terram amat agricola mean the same thing with slight differences in emphasis).

I should stop staying up so late every night. It's becoming a bad habit.

I've been going to bed later then 2:00 AM for the last week or so.

I went to bed at 1:15, which is still terrible because I'm on holiday and my parents went to bed an hour earlier
