I wonder if there are anythings similar to a blood pressrue cuff that you can lay in without having to unzip something and climb inside.

the vac bed looks the easiest. the body bag shaped contraption looks difficult since it looks like you gotta get in sleeping bag style. if you could go in from the side like the vac bed all would be fine

Trust me, there is nothing new under the sun.

Medical students have been finding uses for their sphygmomanometers for over a century...

I like how blood pressure cuffs come in different sizes for different people.

Visa you got any other odd uses?

I commonly use mine to stop pain in an extremity by cutting off the nerves.

"All right everybody, stand back! Clear!"

*booph*

"We have a pulse. This thread has been revived sir."

I was looking for something else that contained the words blood pressure and found this.

Yes, I love having my blood pressure taken. As it turns out I have high blood pressure, so it is a smidge more stress full than I'd like, but I bought a blood pressure monitor earlier in the year (2013), and I love taking it and taking how it never seems to go down even though I'm on medication. I still enjoy the process though. The cuff can be a bit painful, sometimes it seems unnecessarily painful, but I don't take it personally.

In general, I find anything the measures some part of my bodily function fascinating. I had a colonoscopy this year (2013) as well. I just wish the doctors would let me look at the instruments.

I love the pressure that I feel when I get my blood pressure taken.

I think I may have revived this thread again if that's ok? :)
I, too, like deep pressure and have been searching for something like a giant blood pressure cuff -
I am interested in lymphedema pumps, I think they're made to increase circulation in diabetic patients?
But they come in many varieties and inflate to provide pressure :D

when I was in the hospital they wanted to take my blood pressure like every two seconds... it was really damn annoying. And measure my height and weight and temperature and f*****g everything else.. way more than you would have thought necessary. (this was a mental hospital so why did they need such precise data all the time?? fecking annoying)
