I've never been to the City - only through it. Ireland is beautiful but hasn't been part of the UK since 1921 and Cornwall is great (been there once) but going downhill.

Northern Ireland is part of the UK and has been since 1921 so you were half right.

Either way I think it would be fun to visit Ireland. I have Irish ancestry in my family.

Cornwall isn't a country in the same sense that Wales and Scotland are. It's considered a "county", which is only one letter off. Our counties are in a crude sense equivalent to your states.

Cornwall is at the bottom left.

There is a small Cornwall separatist movement, but it's not generally considered a country.

There is a small Cornwall separatist movement, but it's not generally considered a country.

Taking a trip to the United Kingdom would be a nice way to learn more about the country. But I don't think I'll ever get to go.

If I ever got the chance though I think it would be nice.

One of my ambitions is to do more travelling, once I get a bit of money. I intend to go to Scotland or France later this year.

If I could afford to travel I'd want to see Hawaii, Japan, China, and the United Kingdom.

In addition to Hawaii I'd also love to visit these states in the US: Louisiana (I got to visit New Orleans once and I fell in love with the place), the southern part of Florida where Miami is, New York City (I hear they have great restaurants among other cool things), Alaska, and California.

What is an American bar like?
English pubs I think are the same as Aussie pubs, which are quite friendly and laid back.
I like sports clubs best, which have a bar but also have lots of activities, restaurants/coffee lounges and live entertainment and people can take their kids there.

I've only ever been inside one bar in my life. It's just a place where you go to drink booze and a bartender or barmaid serves them, they also have snacks and food. Also some bars have local bands who perform music.

The one I went to I just ordered a coca cola and ate a steak because I don't drink. I went with my mom and a couple she knew just because I was finally old enough at the time (I was over 21) and wanted to see what it was like but I didn't want to drink.

There's also some restaurants that have bars. Places like McGuires, Applebees, Texas Roadhouse, etc.

You can legally drink when you're 16 at some places here as long as you have a parent with you and they buy the alcohol.
bars are 18+ only.
